Summer ends, and Autumn comes, and he who would have it otherwise would have high tide always and a full moon every night; and thus he would never know the rhythms that are at the heart of life. ~Hal Borland
FOCUS: Nature
Yesterday’s dusting of snow has given way to today’s clear, crisp and sunny weather. The days often cycle like that in October, with winter and autumn playing tug-of-war all month long. This early in the month, most of the trees haven’t quite hit their fall stride yet, but here and there you can find incredible bursts of color either on a lone tree, or a humble vine. Autumn is definitely in the air.
Lovely colours Beth…
Thanks, Bulldog. Red has to be my favorite of the fall doors.
