Autumn is the hush before winter. ~French Proverb
FOCUS: Nature
I am truly in love with the autumn we are having here in Colorado. The weather has been spectacular, and the colors beyond compare. This morning, we woke up to a beautiful dusting of snow. The bright, white blanket made the fall colors all the more vibrant and everything felt magical. To make the day even sweeter, we set off for the mountains to spend a relaxing weekend. The drive from Denver took us from the snow dusted front range to the wildly beautiful central mountains, which are bursting with autumn’s glory. Our destination was Glenwood Hot Springs, where we spent a couple of days relaxing and soaking in the natural hot springs pool. Pure bliss!
Absolutely beautiful, especially the first one.
Thanks, Shelly! I thought the gold aspens looked especially stunning against the dusting of snow.
Love all the photos.. the second from last is brilliant…
Thanks Bulldog. Those colors are true to life, no post processing boost necessary. Glenwood Canyon was simply spectacular this weekend!
Wow, these are beautiful photos – the colors and landscapes are breathtaking!
Thank you so much! It is a beautiful time of year here :-).
