The perfect weather of Indian Summer lengthened and lingered, warm sunny days were followed by brisk nights with Halloween a presentiment in the air. – Wallace Stegner
FOCUS: Nature
Oh how fortunate we have been with the weather this fall – warm sunny days, crisp nights and color bursting from every leaf. As one tree loses its leaves, another quickly fills in the gap with a fresh new palette of warm fall hues. The latest tree in my yard to hit its autumn glory is a little serviceberry that sits at the corner of my house. Offering bright green leaves in the spring, beautiful red berries in the summer and luscious peach-toned leaves each fall, this tree is a real work horse in the garden. Even in the winter when its branches are bare, we decorate each limb with tiny white lights to celebrate the holidays. It is truly a beauty for all seasons.
Lovely capture–our colors have been very slow. Nice to see your colors.
Thank you so much!
