The real run begins the moment you forget you are running…
FOCUS: 30 Days of Thanks
Today I am thankful for running. My most enjoyable runs are those when I have no route planned, no set distance to achieve, and no intentions other than to feel the freedom of my body in motion. Those are the times when running is what it should be – fun.
Amen to that — it’s one thing I am excited about not training for anything specific right now!
Remember as kids when we used to run because it was fun, not because it was great exercise? Imagine that! That’s the way running should be, but it’s easy to forget that sometimes. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today! Your comment has lead me to your fitness blog, and I plan to follow along :-).
I tend to lose that joy sometimes, and it is ALWAYS good to remember NOT to let that happens. Thanks so much 🙂
