The only thing more important than your to-do list is your to-be list. The only thing more important than your to-be list is to be.

FOCUS: 30 Days of Thanks
It is my nature to be very organized and I thrive on the sense of accomplishment I get from ticking items off my ‘To Do’ list. In fact, I’ve even been known to write things down I’ve already accomplished just for the thrill of checking it off the list. In short, I am a ‘do-er’. I like to be busy, and I like to stay organized. This is even more true now that it is the holiday season. During times like this when life is particularly busy, I am reminded how important it is to take a little time each day for myself. Even if it is just a few moments at the end of the day to sit quietly, take a few deep breaths, and just ‘be’. These moments are critical to keeping me grounded and living in the present moment. For this reason, today I am thankful for ‘me time’.

I love those two little words…”just be”… it says so much
Yes, they are powerful words. Along those lines, there is a reason I chose to name my photography business ‘Studio B’. Not only is it the first initial of my name, it is also my mantra – ‘Be’.
