Decorating Christmas cookies is a big deal in our house. We typically bake dozens of sugar cookies and invite friends over for a festive cookie decorating party. We take our cookie art very seriously as we pass around the icing and sprinkles, red hots and candy pearls. Each and every cookie is a work of art in the eye of the decorator. Unfortunately, I think this particular tradition of ours will be put on hold until next year. I’ve been under the weather this week, and just haven’t had the time or energy for baking. I guess that just leaves us with more time to plan out next year’s masterpieces. 🙂
