Paint to Possibility

Where paint meets possibility, the journey begins.

These works began with my first venture into acrylic painting — a shift from the digital-first approach that had previously defined my practice. What started as class exercises, tentative and tactile, quickly became something more: sparks of inspiration I carried back into the digital studio. There, brushstrokes stretched, colors burned brighter, and boundaries gave way to something uncontained. Together, the two mediums formed a dialogue — paint grounding, digital releasing — a journey from stroke to expansion, from canvas to possibility.

What began in the classroom as a first step into acrylic became a way of reimagining my entire process. These works are less about one medium or the other than about the space between them — a space where translation transforms, and where beginnings resist becoming endings. Each shift — from burst to threshold, from ignition to release — pointed not to closure but to continuation. Paint was the opening. Possibility is the path. Where it leads next is still unfolding.
