In the spring I have counted one hundred and thirty-six different kinds of weather inside of four and twenty hours. – Mark Twain
Focus: Still Life
Talk about a turn around in the weather! The sunny, 72 degree weather of yesterday seems like a distant memory as the snow falls and temps hover around 12 degrees today. A 60 degree drop in temperature in less than 24 hours can only mean one thing – springtime in the Rockies! Fortunately, the buckets and blankets that I scattered around my garden last night to protect my flowers appear to be doing their job. Despite the frigid weather outside, I know that I have essentially captured the warmth of spring in small bundles throughout my garden. In a few days, I will open up these little time capsules, and the wonderful display of the season will resume once again.
