Impressionism: It is the birth of light in painting. – Robert Delaunay
FOCUS: Abstract
I just couldn’t take it anymore. The windows on my house had become so dirty from the winter, they were driving me crazy. I know it is futile to clean windows this time of year, but I just had to do something about it. So I grabbed the Windex and a rag and set off to do a little spring cleaning. Well… I didn’t get very far. No sooner had I sprayed down the first window when I noticed the impressionistic forms taking shape as the Windex streaked down the glass, turning my once ‘ugly’ windows into mini versions of Monet’s garden. Okay – that might be a stretch – but I did think the effect was pretty enough to photograph :).
(By the way, I got so distracted with my camera that my windows, needless to say, are still as dirty as ever!)
I love Monsieur Monet. Hands down favorite artiste. This would inspire me to clean for sure!
Unfortunately I was so inspired that I didn’t get any actual cleaning done!
If you only knew how many times I’ve become distracted while cleaning my house. Cameras make wonderful tools for times like this. ; )
Yes, a camera is my favorite procrastination tool 🙂
These are awesome ! What a creative idea.
Thank you!
