Focus: Wildlife
A bee visited my garden today – the very first one of the season. He seemed so anxious to fill his belly with nectar and he flew fervently from tulip to tulip in a very focused and determined manner. He must have been quite frustrated that, due to the erratic weather lately, so many of my flowers have not opened up yet. However, things do look promising for the weekend with sunny skies and 70 degree temperatures predicted. So perhaps the next time this little fellow visits my garden, he will have a greater display of spring’s glory on which to feast.

I so loved the book by Sue Monk Kidd~ The Secret Life of Bees…. they are incredible little creatures…nice shots too!
Thank you so much for your feedback! The Secret Life of Bees was a wonderful book. I have always had a soft spot for bees, they really are gentle creatures and they do so much for the environment.
