Focus: Self Portrait
Well, today’s photo almost didn’t happen. It wasn’t until I was getting ready for bed at 10:00 at night that I realized I still needed to get in a photo. My solution? A self portrait in my bathroom’s magnifying mirror. A simple concept for sure, but I think the results are pretty cool – I especially like how the red walls of my bathroom took on a wonderful tangerine hue in the low light (maybe I should paint them that color?!) Not too bad for not planning ahead…

The walls in my bathroom are actually a dark red, but the sensor in the camera turned them tangerine due to the low light. I think I like the tangerine color better – may have to repaint!!
It’s so interesting how photography makes us look at everyday things and surroundings differently !!
