FOCUS:  Photo Technique (Scanned Images)

I thought I’d try a new photo technique today by using my computer’s flatbed scanner as the medium for my photography.  This particular technique has developed an almost cult-like following, and the results can be quite amazing.  Since this was my first attempt at using my scanner this way, I thought I’d start off by simply using plant clippings from my yard as my subject matter.  After scanning the images, I inverted the photos in Photoshop to give them an x-ray feel to them.  I think the results are pretty cool.  Maybe I’ll explore this technique a little more over the next few days…
