I have discovered that walking around with a big, black DSLR camera draws an awful lot of attention – and not necessarily in a a good way either. That has been one frustration of my Project 365 – it is hard to be inconspicuous in public places hauling around the ‘big beast’. On the contrary, I just happened to borrow my daughter’s iPhone while we were having lunch today, and I was able to snap off a few pictures without anybody even paying one iota of attention to me. I’ve never really taken photos with an iPhone before so the resulting photos weren’t the greatest, but the feeling of anonymity I had while taking them sure was!
