What is it about trains that strike such a cord of nostalgia? For as long as I can remember I have heard the train whistle blow as it passes through town several times a day, but most notably late at night. Whoooooooooot, Whoooooooooot, Whoooooooooot!! Like baseball and apple pie, this seemingly outdated mode of transportation virtually screams of the ‘Good Ol’ Days’ and ‘Americana’.
