I step outside and the chilly air tightens the skin on my bare arms…. Fall colors…. so bright and intense and beautiful. It’s like nature is trying to fill you up with color, to saturate you so you can stockpile it before winter turns everything muted and dreary. ~Siobhan Vivian

Today’s weather is crisp and cold, a drop of at least 25 degrees from yesterday, and a reminder that our beautiful fall weather will soon be coming to an end. Ironically, the same grey sky that bodes of winter’s coming is also the perfect compliment to the intense fall colors we’ve been experiencing, making them virtually glow in its soft, diffused light. I cannot help but feel an intense need to soak up all this beauty before the barren, muted days of winter descend.

Yes we’ve had some beautiful scenery here in Canada too. At least a few weeks ago, most of the leaves have now fallen. Cheer.
