So it was 8:30 this evening before I realized I hadn’t taken a photo yet today. Scrambling for inspiration, I grabbed a rose that was sitting in a vase on my kitchen counter, placed it under a solitary light, photographed it, added a dash of creative expression and – voila!
They say an artist can make do with even the humblest of ingredients, but it sure does help to surround yourself with beautiful things – in this case, roses.
