Although the calendar says it is spring, winter has shown that it is not yet ready to give up its hold on Colorado.  Snow began to fall shortly after sunset and continued through the night.  We have family visiting from Puerto Rico and so the excitement of a big snow storm was buzzing in our home, despite the grumbling of those of us who have grown weary of the cold and wet weather.  Watching my niece squeal with delight as she pranced around scooping up handfuls of the snow and trying to catch the falling flakes on her tongue was a wonderful reminder of how magical a snowstorm can be.
