We always have a great time at the annual Cherry Creek Arts Festival! With over 250 exhibitors and 300,000 visitors over a three-day weekend, the festival is a fun and inspiring way to spend a couple hours. Although photography is my chosen art form, I find myself consistently drawn to the contemporary oil painting and mixed media artists at the festival. Maybe it’s because their art is so different from my own, or maybe it’s because I aspire to capture the same bold colors and graphic nature in my own work. Either way, I love getting a peek into the wide variety of creative genius that exist.
Art really is for everyone!
