Where there's smoke... Wildfires are burning up the west, and it shows.  The smoke from the California and Southern Oregon fires has made its way into Colorado, coloring our skies a bleak greyish-brown and the sun disturbing color of orange tonight. Feels a bit apocalyptic.

Almost every person, from childhood, has been touched by the untamed beauty of wildflowers. -Lady Bird Johnson Don't you just love it when you plant something and it actually grows?  I'm loving my tiny little wildflower garden right now.  At 10'x10' she's is small, but she is mighty!

Lightning is Mother Nature's fireworks.
