If there is no struggle, there is no progress.

We spent the weekend in Alabama, revisiting the history of the Civil Rights movement. On the agenda was a soulful exploration of the National Memorial for Peace and Justice and a day trip to Selma to walk the infamous Edmund Pettus Bridge. Both were powerful reminders of how far we’ve come, and how far we still have to go when it comes to equal rights in our country.
No matter the day, no matter the year, history is always being made. What will be the legacy of our generation?
Very moving!
Thank you, Nora. This place is definitely worth a visit if you are ever in Montgomery!
